Map Packs in Geometry Dash are special collections of levels grouped by similar difficulty and star rewards. Each pack contains three levels, providing a consistent challenge for players who want to progress through the game's various stages. For a long time, Map Packs were one of the main ways to earn stars, coins, and discover some of the best-rated community levels.

The History of Map Pack Updates

  • Update 1.6: Introduced the first 25 map packs, including Beginner, Normal, Remix 1, Stereo, Hard, Morph, Challenge, Dash, Expert, Fusion, Turbo 1 & 2, Chaos, and Demon Packs 1–9.
  • Update 1.7: Added 14 new packs, such as Phoenix, Power, Elemental, Fast, Bionic, Shatter, Twisted, Mortal, Magma, and Demon Packs 10–14.
  • Update 1.81: Released 15 packs, including Sapphire, UFO, Amethyst, Ruby, Shiny, Color, Warp, Cyclone, Colossus, Diamond, Paradox, Funky, and Demon Packs 15–17.
  • Update 1.9: Did not add any map packs.
  • Update 2.01: Introduced the final 11 packs: Alpha, Force, Cookie, Electro, Laser, Glow, Spirit, Ion, Blade, Sparkle, and Happy.
